New functionality has been developed for the College of Law enabling them to include a DHTML style menu linking to a number of key applications from their public web site.

The key issues with the new menu functionality were its integration with the existing site design and the methodology for including it on all relevant pages. The menu's content had to be managed via the CMS and for this reason the inbuilt Ektron CMS DHTML control was used as the basis for the build. Integrating it with the existing look and feel was achieved by creating a custom style sheet for the menu, replacing the inbuilt system version. A deployment methodology was devised enabling it to be tested on the College's staging environment before deploying it to the live web server with no 'down time'.

The new functionality has now been deployed across the College's live site (www.college-of-law.co.uk)
