Testing - Unit, Solution and User Acceptance
During the development phase the development team undertake 'unit testing', whereby the individual elements are tested as they are developed and completed.
This unit testing is the first tier of testing that aims to catch any fundamental issues, such as code errors, incorrect data retrieval etc. Once the development phase is complete, Eurisko undertake the required solution testing. This, 'as it says on the tin', tests the overall solution - all the units operating collectively.
All bugs and errors are formally recorded and the appropriate fixes managed by the Project Manager and the Lead Developer/Programme Manager.
Once solution testing is complete, the system is released to the client for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). UAT involves you the client testing the system as a whole.
Again errors and bugs are reported and formally recorded and the appropriate fixes managed by the Project Manager and the Lead Developer/Programme Manager. Each bug raised in UAT must receive formal client sign off once fixed.
Once UAT is complete the overall solution is signed off by you the client.
