The Agile Approach
Whereas formal methodologies are heavily process and documentation orientated, treating changes almost as 'errors' that need minimising and managing via change control; Eurisko’s ‘Agile’ methodology embraces the need for flexibility.
Utilising an approach that is based upon ongoing refinement rather than a fixed definition, our agile approach takes a core, high level set of requirements and allows these to be refined and revised as part of the project lifecycle, with iterative, regular peer and project review.
This approach to managing and developing solutions therefore treats project input in significantly different ways to a formal approach, whereby:
- Individuals and interactions are valued over processes and tools
- Working solutions are valued over comprehensive pre-development documentation
- Responding to change is valued over following a plan
